This is weird... Why would the Empire even bother to do it???

: Yesterday , 8 June 3303, the Imperial Navy held a press conference in which they announced that
: work has started on the replacement vessel for the Imperial Courier. The Courier, which entered
: its third century of service with the Imperial Navy on 2nd of April 3292, has been deemed "an aging
: design and concept, which, altough grounbreaking when it was first released, is no longer adapted
: to the modern day space warfare". Then the spokesperson for the Imperial Navy shocked the audience
: by declaring that all information concerning the Courier, except weapons data, communication and
: flight software will be declassified and made avaiable to the public. This comes as a big surprise since
: it means that every decent shipyard will now be able to build Couriers to full military specs; and for
: the firs time since 3230, the commanders will be able to run a Courier with no need for extra crew.
: It was also revealed that the Imperial Navy will start a service to provide information on the Courier to
: those interested and at the opening ceremony, the first glimpses of the Courier's successor will also be
: seen. No official date was announced for the ceremony, but it is believed it will be held in a week's
: time. So if you are interested, head for Peter's Base, Facece, and witness history being written.

: The Courier is BACK!!!
