ASTRONOMICAL INFORMATION

  Titican is a main sequence, type M, red star. Its output is fairly feeble and astronomically, the star is considered a red dwarf. None of the planets are suitable for terraformation due to the low output of the star, and the small sizes of the inner planets.

HISTORY AND NOTABLE FEATURES

  Titican is a well industrialised system, notable for being the home of Vosper Thorneycroft shipyards, who build many of the larger spacefaring vessels. Vospers employ nearly quarter of the system's population, and have a massive orbital city where custom large ships are assembled. The AJN is a regular customer of this shipyard, and the hulls for many of the newer large ships are constructed here.

  Other industries in this system are vital to the Alliance's economy, with many products being exported to Federation and Imperial worlds as well as traded within the Alliance. Mining is still relatively important here, with many useful minerals being extracted from the rocky planets in this system.
