  We made a bit of a mistake coming to Aandex. The spaceport at Carter Landing is nice enough - however, they don't have any military fuel, and they seldom get a shipment (even when they do, it costs over CR 100 per tonne, quite the most expensive military fuel in the galaxy!) This nearly stranded us. Fortuantely, we still had enough fuel to start backtracking by going to Liabece.

  We spent a couple of nights at Carter's Landing to see if any military fuel would be delivered (it wasn't!). All I can say is bring something warm to wear if you're going to stroll around the town - the planet Sinclair's Legacy only has a mean temperature of 9 degrees Celcius. Of course, we would choose the coldest couple of nights they have had to visit! It didn't get above freezing throughout our trip.

  Carter's Landing is as uninspiring as its name. There's really not much to do here, as we found out while we waited fruitlessly for some fuel to arrive. We only found one bar in the whole town, and it didn't seem too popular with the locals. It's called "John Deere's", and the only good thing it does is sell a small selection of Riedquatian beers (which at least helped pass the evening).
