  This was a rather quiet system. We had one half-hearted attack from a Viper which we easily beat down, and that was it. On reaching Fortress Tracy, we found that the entire system was rather quiet too.

  The station was pretty much deserted - just a few asteroid miners haggling over the price of minerals and trying to get shipments out. The station administration consisted of precisely six people. Normally, a station has a staff of at least a hundred, but not here. There wasn't enough trade to justify any more than six staff members.

  Consequently, we fuelled up and left pretty quickly.
